New Desktop - Hawaii

New Desktop - Hawaii, originally uploaded by Rob Boudon.

I did not take this picture (I took the screenshot)

I've been thinking about Hawaii a lot lately. I know what you are saying, it's winter time and the extreme cold is just messing with me and making me dream of a warmer place. You are partly right. I've been thinking about Hawaii because I've always wanted to live somewhere tropical. The more research I do on Hawaii only feeds my desire to seek it out. When I make a move somewhere it's a very calculating effort. I don't just wake up one day and say "I should totally move to ____!" Naw, I pride myself on making good decisions and setting myself up for success so these things take a little time for me. I don't see any reason why in few years from now when (and if) I'm done with NYC for a bit, Hawaii can't be the next destination. We shall see.

Court's Glasses Got Trashed

Court's Glasses Got Trashed, originally uploaded by Rob Boudon.

You can't see it from this angle, but the left spec also has nothing attached to it to rest on the ear.

Oh, and Courtney said that I "looked like a girl." :-/ Again, I think she needs new glasses.

Painting By Audrey Kawasaki / Framing By Mr. Shah

I just returned from the One Stop Framing Shop with my new Audrey Kawasaki print and it looks gorgeous!

I could go on about what a smart and talented artist Audrey Kawasaki is and how impressed I am with her work and I probably will at some point, but today I want to talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE...

I walked into the One Stop Framing Shop for the first time last Saturday and met Mr. Shah and his brother who work there. Of course I was interested in having my print framed and I had some ideas about how I wanted it done. We discussed our options for having the print framed and listened to his suggestions for how he would frame it. The man is smart when it comes to framing, but he is brilliant when it comes to customer service. I'm not going to go into detail about my experience, but in a world where customer service seems like it is becoming a lost art it's such a pleasure when you can be guided to a decision and all along you feel like you are the most important person visiting the shop. If you study the customer service experience like I do and you would like to see first hand how it is done, then please bring your items to be framed to One Stop Framing Shop. You won't be disappointed. I'd bet my new Audrey Kawasaki on it! :)

Little Big Planet or Grand Theft Auto IV???

I need your help again guys. The last time I asked which game I should play first, you overwhelmingly decided that Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess would best Final Fantasy XII. This choice I believe is even harder. When I start games I usually play through them till I beat them. I'm going to begin either Little Big Planet or Grand Theft Auto IV. I'm not sure which one to start first. What do you suggest?
